Junk Journal Page Butterfly

Hi, I'm Vero (@Vero.kt) and welcome to today's inspiration. How's everybody ?I've been playing with some of the Rubber Dance designs to create a page in my Junk Journal. I hope you like it. I have used, Mix a sentiments 3 ,Inky Friends and Mixed media marks.

I have used different sheets, wrapping paper, notebook paper, silk and hand cut, in the photo you can appreciate them better.

Later I prepare these papers to work with wet media, so I apply a layer of clear  gesso, if the one you have is white, it would also be worth it, I use a dryer to speed up drying, and I apply pigments with a fan brush and make them react with water.

On my work table I mix pigments with water and add them to the stamps to be able to stamp and obtain a watercolor effect.

Now it's time to stamp with inks in tones similar to the background. And to add depth. imprinted with black permanent ink

It is time to sew the edges by machine on a recycled cardboard

I chose the butterfly from the set Inky Friends, it is colored with pigments and watercolor pencils, and with cardboard, I added volume. Now I leave you some photos with details of the project.I hope you like it as much as I do when making them.

Art Journal page Inky Flower

Hi, I'm Vero (@ Vero.kt) and I welcome you to today's inspiration. How's everybody ? I've been playing with Mixed media marks, Round in circlesInky Flowers , and ,Mix a sentiment 2   to create a page in my Art Journal. I hope you like.

On an A4 watercolor card I played with spray inks and some rubber dance stamps to create the background.

I cut to the size of an A6 and started stamping different stamps with oxide inks in tones similar to the background to add texture to the page.

I chose the moth from the set Inky Flowers , it is colored with watercolor pencils,One of the parts that I enjoy the most is the composition, I have to admit that it is usually the part that takes me the most.A few splashes with black acrylic and we would have our page

Now I leave you some photos with details of the project.I hope you like it as much as I do when making them.

Art Journal What a girl wants

Hi, I'm Vero (@ Vero.kt) and I welcome you to today's inspiration. How's everybody ? I've been playing with Mixed media marks, Round in circles, What a girl wants, and ,Mix a sentiment 2   to create a page in my Art Journal. I hope you like.

On an A4 watercolor card I played with spray inks and some rubber dance stamps to create the background.

When the inks are dry, cut the pages to A6 size.

Then started stamping different stamps with oxide inks in tones similar to the background to add texture to the page.

One of the parts that I enjoy the most is the composition, I have to admit that it is usually the part that takes me the most.
And this time when arranging the elements, I felt that texture was missing, so I added some stars with a stencil and cracked effect paste
Now I leave you some photos with details of the project.I hope you like it as much as I do when making them.

Atc´s Sketchy Birds

Hi, I'm Vero (@ Vero.kt) and I welcome you to today's inspiration. How's everybody ? I've been playing with Mixed media marks, Round in circles,Mix a sentiment 2 and  Sketchy Birds to create a colorful Atc´s that I hope you like.

Very easy to do, we started. We cut watercolor paper to a size of 2.5 x 3.5 inches, if you prefer to work in cm, 6.4x8.9. In my case, the paper is smooth and hot pressed, and I color the backgrounds with pigments.

When the backgrounds dry (we can speed up the process with a heat gun) we will add texture and depth with different inks, in my case I have used distress oxide. To start, I choose a stamp from the Mixed media marks , apply the inks, spray water, and stamp, (I'm not looking for definition, I'm looking for a watercolor effect, watery).

Help myself with the dryer and go back to stamp with different inks, to continue adding depth and texture.

It is the turn of the sewing machine.

One of the parts that I enjoy the most is the composition, I have to admit that it is usually the part that takes me the most.

Now I leave you some photos with details of the project.I hope you like it as much as I do when making them.
