Doodle Flowers Atc´s

Hi, I'm Vero (@ Vero.kt) and I welcome you to today's inspiration. How's everybody ? I've been playing with Mixed media marks 1, Pencil marks 3Mix a sentiment 2 and Doodle Flowers  to create a colorful Atc´s that I hope you like .

Very easy to do, we started. We cut watercolor paper to a size of 2.5 x 3.5 inches, if you prefer to work in cm, 6.4x8.9. In my case, the paper is smooth and hot pressed, and I color the backgrounds with pigments.

When the backgrounds dry (we can speed up the process with a heat gun) we will add texture and depth with different inks, in my case I have used distress oxide. To start, I choose a stamp from the Mixed media marks , apply the inks, spray water, and stamp, (I'm not looking for definition, I'm looking for a watercolor effect, watery).Help myself with the dryer and go back to stamp with different inks, to continue adding depth and texture.

One of the parts that I enjoy the most is the composition, I have to admit that it is usually the part that takes me the most. Now I leave you some photos with details of the project.I hope you like it as much as I do when making them.

Junk Journal Page

Hi, I'm Vero (@Vero.kt) and welcome to today's inspiration. How's everybody ?I've been playing with some of the new Rubber Dance designs to create a page in my Junk Journal, I hope you like it.                   I have used, Mix a sentiments 3 Pencil marks 4 and Mixed media marks.

I have used different sheets, wrapping paper, notebook paper, silk and hand cut, in the photo you can appreciate them better.

Later I prepare these papers to work with wet media, so I apply a layer of clear  gesso, if the one you have is white, it would also be worth it,

I use a dryer to speed up drying, and I apply pigments with a fan brush and make them react with water.

On my work table I mix pigments with water and add them to the stamps to be able to stamp and obtain a watercolor effect.

Now it's time to stamp with inks in tones similar to the background.

And to add depth. imprinted with black permanent ink

It is time to sew the edges by machine on a recycled cardboard

I choose a flower from the  Pencil marks 4 set, color it and add it to the page.Below I leave you with several photos of the project so you can see it in detail

Atc´s Flowers

Hi, I'm Vero (@ Vero.kt) and I welcome you to today's inspiration. How's everybody ? I've been playing with Mixed media marks, ,Mix a sentiment 2 , Sketchy Flowers 3  and Pencil marks 2 to create a colorful Atc´s that I hope you like.

A few days before, prepare several backgrounds with the Gelli plate and acrylic paints, we are going to use them for the base of the atc's, we cut to a size of 2.5 x 3.5 inches, if you prefer to work in cm, 6.4x8.9.

When the backgrounds dry (we can speed up the process with a heat gun) we will add texture and depth with different inks, in my case I have used distress oxide. To start, I choose a stamp from the Mixed media marks and Mix a sentiment 2  apply the inks, spray water, and stamp, (I'm not looking for definition, I'm looking for a watercolor effect, watery).
Help myself with the dryer and go back to stamp with different inks, to continue adding depth and texture.

I choose one of the stamps from the Sketchy Flowers 3 set, stamp it,  color it with watercolor pencils, then cut.One of the parts that I enjoy the most is the composition, I have to admit that it is usually the part that takes me the most.

Now I leave you some photos with details of the project.I hope you like it as much as I do when making them.
